About the independent members of the Association of Art Historians

Independent art historians work in a wide variety of areas - for example, as freelance lecturers, curators, researchers, writers, editors, translators, picture researchers, conservators. The Association of Art Historians (AAH) was formed in 1974 to support and promote the study of art history.
